Detailed Description Job

In this role you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess and meet the needs of children and adolescents and adults attending the centre. This work will require planning, evaluating, organizing diagnosing and treating children with a diverse range of mental disorders, learning disabilities, and cognitive, behavioural, and emotional problems using individual and group therapy.

As part of the Psychology Services at Mind Institute, you will select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests in order to obtain information on client intelligence, achievements, interests, and personality. Develop and implement individual treatment plans by specifying the type, frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy. Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling or treatments and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses, and modify plans and diagnoses as necessary. Counsel individuals and groups regarding problems such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, to modify behavior and/or improve personal and social adjustment. Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues and diagnose disorders using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials. Partake in the Intake process of each client and study medical, psychological, social, and family histories by interviewing individuals and/or families. The position requires independent clinical judgment, well-developed communication skills, and the ability to work well with co-workers and families of clients.

  • Provide a systematic high-quality psychology service within a multidisciplinary setting working collaboratively with other clinicians and special educators to promote wellbeing, best interests, and development of children and adults.
  • Support clinical team and Special Educators regarding complex issues relevant to children and adults with SEMH.
  • Independently select, administer, score and interpret specialist psychological assessments (including ADOS 2, WISC, WIAT, Connors, WPSSI),
  • Formulate plans for formal psychological treatment and/or management of a child or young person’s mental health problems based upon an appropriate conceptual framework and employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy.
  • · Provide individual and group therapy using various evidence-based/informed modalities as clinically indicated to include brief problem-focused psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and client-centered therapy for children, adolescents and family members.
  • Provide clinical and administrative oversight to clinical and administrative staff.
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Write reports and maintain information records accurately
  • Provide expertise and specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other clinicians contributing directly to a child/young person’s formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan.

Position:

IT ADMINISTRATOR **Please note that we are only accepting applications from candidates which are located in Doha as this is an urgent hire.

Job Overview:

 You will manage Information Technology functions for both Mind Institute and Little Academy Nursery. You will be responsible for reporting directly to the Director and Managers. Key duties include but are not limited to the below:

  • Maintain information technology strategies.
  • Maintains staff’s IT records and Manages staff IT concerns.
  • Coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities. Determine the IT needs and responsibilities for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization’s information systems requirements, computer networks, managing telecommunications systems and other electronic support systems related to the company operations.
  • Manage and lead the design and deployment of new IT systems and services, websites and Social media. Ensure website updates in liaison with the Marketing team.
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Analyze business requirements to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Plans, organize, control, evaluate, monitors, assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software, IT and electronic data operations as well as Configuration, installation, networking and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time

  • Ensure smooth functioning of day to day work of all services and are effectively delivered, monitored, reported and evaluated
  • Maintain accurate information on renewals for nursery/center places ensuring that accurate information is recorded in the database
  • Order & maintain machinery and general office, IT supplies for the center, and to ensure stocks are held and are purchased within budgetary limits
  • Coordinate with all departments for IT related needs and on specific tasks allotted if any

The candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems and others; Excellent knowledge of technical management and understanding, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Ability to manage personnel
  • Optional product or system certification
